How to report a bug

Send an email to vigil.swiss@pm.me with the subject line [BUG] followed by a short description.

Please include as much detail as possible — the more information you provide, the faster we can fix it.

💡 Before reporting, check if the issue occurs consistently or only once. If you suspect a search engine was temporarily blocked, try again after a few minutes.

Common issues

Adverse news shows 0 results — GDELT or the configured search engine may be temporarily unavailable. Wait a few minutes and try again. GDELT has a rate limit if many searches are made in quick succession.

PEP check is slow — Wikidata API can be slow at times. If it times out, the result will show "unavailable".

Lists show "not loaded" — Click "Load Lists" to reload. Lists are cached and reload automatically at 2:00 AM daily.

PDF export is empty — Run a screening first, then export. The PDF requires at least one result.
